Whether it is a result of the current economic situation in the
UK or for any other
reason, your local Council and its partners want you to be able to
get the help you need as quickly as possible.
For many people, this will be the first time they have needed
advice to help with their finances and other matters.
We have created this section of the website to link
to local and national organisations that you can speak to for
help and information. All the organisations listed are just a phone
call away and their advice is free and confidential.
They can help you and those you care for regardless of your
finances and housing status. If you are an older person, disabled
or mobility impaired the relevant organisation may visit you at
home on request.
Trained advisors will help you look at your options so you can
decide what steps to take. They will also suggest where you can get
further help to deal with the difficulties you are facing and in
some cases will act on your behalf.
