Licensing and Permits
The licensing team deals with a
wide variety of issues across the district. These range from the
sale of alcohol, taxi licensing, street trading and even scrap
metal registration.
Licences are necessary for many
reasons but foremost, is ensuring the safety of the public using
the services being offered. A licence issued by a local
authority acts as a certificate of trust allowing the Public to
feel confident in the services they receive, knowing that the
licence holder has been suitably vetted.
The licensing website is broken down
into the sections listed below, please browse through these lists
to find the section relevant to your enquiry.
Contact the Licensing Team

of customers we deal with, we must operate an appointments
only system. If you would like to submit your
application in person; please always call us in advance to arrange
an appointment to avoid disappointment. If you do not have an
