
You may be entitled to receive benefits, if you are on a low
income or have certain costs to meet because of your personal
situation, for eg:
- you are on a low income (employed or looking for work)
- you have dependent children
- you are ill or disabled
- you are aged 60 or over
- your have been bereaved
- you are pregnant or have recently had a baby
Working jointly with the Pension Service and the Citizen's
Advice Bureau, Cheshire West Cheshire and Chester Council's Welfare
Benefits Advice Service can offer guidance on the full range of
benefits and financial assistance available, and help you complete
claim forms.
You can visit the Welfare Benefits Advice Service teams at one
of our advice surgeries, situated in:
- Neston Town
Hall on Mondays 10am - 12.30pm
- Westminster Neighbourhood Office, Ellesmere Port
on Tuesdays 10am - 12.30pm
- Greenfield Neighbourhood House, 15 - 17 Finsbury Walk, Winsford
on Mondays 2pm - 4pm
- Rudheath Community House, Cotebrook Road, Rudheath, Northwich
on Tuesdays and Thursdays 2pm - 4pm.

Advice Service can arrange a home visit or speak to you over the
