About the Trader Register

Cheshire West and Chester Trading Standards and Age Concern Register (The Trader Register)

Many people who are older or disabled find it difficult to find a reliable trader who they can trust when they need work carried out in their home and garden.

The Trader Register has been set up for the benefit of both local customers and businesses across Cheshire West and Chester, to give older and disabled customers access to reliable traders in their locality.

The scheme is run by Cheshire West and Chester Council Trading Standards in partnership with Cheshire East Council Trading Standards and Age Concern and is free to both consumers and businesses.

How do I find a trader on the Register?

Finding a trader on the Register is both free and simple. You can ask for a list from Age Concern Cheshire on 01606 881668 or, if you are resident in Cheshire East, please contact Age Concern East Cheshire on 01625 612958 alternatively view the Trader Register online.
