Streetscene adheres to the guiding principles set out in the Council’s vision of putting the customer first, giving value for money and putting into operation best practice.

Streetscene is committed to driving forward the environmental sustainability of our communities.  We aim for excellent planned and managed services that ensure community involvement. 

Across the Cheshire West and Chester area Streetscene are responsible for the management and maintenance of:

• Local Environmental Quality
• Public Open Space
• Public Conveniences
• Street Furniture
• Environmental Crime – Enforcement and Awareness

These responsibilities are delivered on Council owned land using the following services:

• Street Cleansing
• Litter picking
• Road sweeping
• Removal of fly tipping and fly posting
• Street Furniture
• Installation, maintenance and emptying of litter and dog bins
• Grounds Maintenance
• Floral displays
• Grass cutting and hedge cutting 
• Abandoned vehicles
• Awareness and Education promoting Streetscene issues
• Investigation and Enforcement of Environmental Crime including fly tipping, graffiti, littering and fly posting 
• Coordination and improvement in the delivery of services within the public realm
