Cheshire West and Chester Council Housing Management Service has
a Leaseholder Panel which will meet at least four times a year. All
leaseholders are eligible to join and attend panel meetings but
only people who have joined the panel will be invited.
There is also a Leaseholder Forum which will meet once a year.
Its meetings are publicised and all leaseholders can attend.
Both the Leasehold Panel and the Leasehold Forum consist of
Council leaseholders of flats and maisonettes and officers from
Cheshire West and Chester Council’s Housing Management Service. The
Forum and the Panel give leaseholders a chance to raise and discuss
issues. They can also invite guest speakers to provide information
of interest to leaseholders. Meetings are publicised in ‘Open
Door’, the Council’s quarterly newsletter for council tenants and
leaseholders, in the regular leasehold article.
