Supported Accommodation
Supported accommodation is provided for clients with support needs. The type of accommodation offered can vary according to the household type and the individual support needs.
Whilst in supported accommodation clients can receive suppport to help them claim benefits, find employment and training, move into permanent accommodation, and where there are children in the household, help with access to education and health.
Clients may also be referred to other services which support clients with complex needs such as drug and alcohol misuse, offending and mental health issues.
Women's Aid provide specialist support to women fleeing domestic abuse and needing a safe place to stay.
