Skills Academy
The Council provide work-based training and development to
young people from the age of 16 years at The Skills Academy in
Winsford.
History
The Skills Academy was established
in 1984 and has a successful history of working with
young people to support them in achieving work-based qualifications
and, through successful work placements, finding employment.
Information, Advice and Guidance
The Skills Academy will provide you
with independent Information, Advice and Guidance to ensure the
programme you would like to follow is the right one for you and
your chosen career path.
Training and Support
The Skills Academy employs a team
of training officers and assessors to support and guide you through
your chosen qualification. Each one has the relevant experience and
expertise to work in partnership with you to ensure you are
successful in the achievement of your qualification.
