Working with the Jets
The Council is working with the Cheshire Jets to promote healthy
and active lifestyles for children and young people in
schools across the borough through a programme called
Hoops4Health.
The Jets provide a healthy living programme using the
professional players as role models and encourage participants to
think how their lifestyle choices might affect their health.
Basketball is used to as an easy way to keep fit and, at
the same time, have fun.
The Cheshire Jets is a professional basketball team
based at the Northgate Arena, Chester, and compete in the British
Basketball League (BBL).
