Walking in Cheshire West and Chester
Cheshire West and Chester is a great area to explore
on foot. Rocky ridges and broad river valleys form natural routes,
while the network of footpaths and other public rights of way
encourage you to discover quiet corners of the countryside.
Stride out along the ridge on the Sandstone Trail, a wonderful 55km walk from
Frodsham to Whitchurch with tremendous views over Cheshire and
beyond. A number of other walks in Cheshire are also
listed here.
