What's New?

An Afternoon with Erica James

Well known author Erica James is coming to Bishops High Library on Friday March 12th at 2pm.  She will talking about her writing and novels and there will be time for a question and answer session at the end.  This will be followed by tea and cakes.  The event is free but we will be collecting donations for the charity effort in Haiti.  Booking is essential so please reserve your place at the library or by email or telephone Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm.

Where is the library? How do I get there?

Directions
Bishops' High Library is a dual use library and is located at Bishops' High School in the suburbs of Great Boughton, Chester. The school is situated at the end of Vaughan's Lane and has a car park. Public transport is available to Christleton Road (A41). When leaving Chester on the A41you turn immediately right after the Peacock Pub onto Heath Lane. Continue along Heath Lane until you reach a sharp bend to the left, here, you see a sign to the school and turn right onto Vaughan's Lane. The lane is a no-through road which leads to the school.

BUSES: From Foregate Street (outside Boots) STOP F No.4 to Waverton No.41, 41A to Whitchurch. No.25 to Belgrave Road.

Parking - Large Car Park.
