We are holding some free computer taster sessions at the library for people who do not have any or very little computer experience. Booking is essential, please contact the library.

Poetry Events
Northwich Library will be hosting a series of poetry events, organised by DAN (Development of the Arts in Northwich). Each event will feature a guest poet performing their work. The performances will be introduced by Angela Topping. After an interval, there will be an open mic session where everyone will be welcome to read their own or favourite poems. Contact DAN 01606 41597 for ticket information and information about the poets tickets cost £4.00 (£3.00)

Animals Take Over
Come along to the library on Thursday 8th April 10am-11am and meet Ollie the Owl, Fredo the Frog, Ozzie the Bearded Dragon and their friends. Look, touch and hold each of these wonderful creatures. Tickets cost £1 and booking is essential.
Basic IT Sessions
Northwich Library run three basic IT sessions: Basic Computer Skills, Basic Internet Skills and How to set up an email account. For more information and to put your name on the waiting list please contact the library or pop in to see us.

Teenage Creative Writing Group
Would you like to try creative writing? Want to share ideas and get inspiration? Our writing group for teenagers meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 6 - 7 pm. in the Teenage area of the library. Why not come along for an informal opportunity to meet and discuss your work. There are themes for each month of the year. Newcomers are welcome. Contact the library for further details.

Where is the library? How do I get there?
Directions
Northwich Library is in the main
shopping area of the town centre. We are on a pedestrianised
precinct up at the top end of Witton Street (Sainsburys end) near
the Flower Shop and Penny Black Pub.
Public
Transport
Nearest bus stop is at bus station on
Watling Street about 5-10 minutes walk away from library. Northwich
Railway Station is the nearest train station and is slightly out of
town centre corner of Station Road and Manchester Road and will
take about 10-15 minutes to reach on foot.
Parking - We do not have our own car park but Northwich has a number of free car parks all within easy reach of the library mainly at the back of the pedestrianised area off Leicester Street. You can also park at the Memorial Hall, on Watling Street and walk up.
Disabled Parking - There are disabled parking areas within easy reach of the library off Albion Road, which runs along behind the library.
