11th February - Winter Wildlife Wonderland

What happens to our wildlife in winter? Some species emerge whilst others run for cover. Join our wildlife detective as he reveals some of nature’s winter wildlife sights and spectacles.

1st April - What lies beneath?

The geology of Cheshire largely comprises of desert mudstones and sandstones overlain by glacial deposits; forming a low flat plain landscape with a series of small prominent sandstone ridges. 
Join our team of experts and take a giant step back in time as they reveal the origins of the underlying bedrock and its consequent effect on the surface vegetation.
