Wyvern House meeting online
22 July 2010
Cheshire West and
Chester Council’s last full Council meeting was broadcast live
on the internet. The meeting, took place on Thursday 22 July
and four cameras captured the speeches at Wyvern House in
Winsford.
Broadcasting the meetings on the internet allows users who
cannot be there in person to attend virtually from the comfort of
their home and at a time that suits them.
For residents who were unable to view the live broadcast, a
recorded archive will be available from the following day which
will allow users to skip through to agenda points in the meeting
and even individual speakers.
The implementation of the camera system, Public-i, follows on
from the successful trial at the budget meeting, held in February,
and marks the start of live broadcasting of every full Council
meeting.
Items on the agenda include Frodsham Town Design Statement,
Treasury Management Annual Report and proposed changes to decision
making in Public Rights of Way matters.
