Summer 2010 opening

The Aqua Park at Sandy Lane Play Park in Chester will open for its summer season on 29 May.

The park is situated upon the banks of the River Dee, approx 2.5 miles east of the city centre. Looking across the Dee to the meadows, it has beautiful views of the local area, which provides a stimulating play environment.

The Aqua Park is a 10 feature spray facility which enables children to run around and get wet!  There is a grassed picnic area around the aqua park and a small number of picnic tables. Add to this free car parking, toilets, a food kiosk and the new dry play park built in 2009, this all makes a great family day out.

The Play Park is open all year round but the Aqua Park, toilets and Kiosk open on Saturday, 29 May 2010 and will operate daily, 11am-5pm, until Sunday, 12 September 2010. For the remainder of September the Aqua Park will be open at weekends only. Please note that the site will only operate if the weather is dry

The kiosk on site will be open whilst the Aqua Park is open and will sell a selection of hot and cold drinks, ice creams and light snacks and a selection of sandwiches.
