Minerals and Waste

The current adopted local plans concerning minerals and waste development in Cheshire West and Chester are the Cheshire Replacement Minerals Local Plan, 1999 and the Cheshire Replacement Waste Local Plan, 2007.  

Consultation on the the Core Strategy Issues and Options report ended in January 2010. The document included issues and options relating to strategic policies for minerals and waste. The detailed policies for minerals and waste development are to be included in subsequent Development Plan Documents.

If you are a stakeholder in the minerals or waste industry, or an agent acting on behalf of a stakeholder, please take the opportunity to have a look at the Issues and Options report and topic papers and the comments received during the consultation period.
