The Cemeteries and Crematoria team operates from the office located at the entrance of Chester Crematorium and Blacon Cemetery.

The following cemeteries and crematorium are located in West Cheshire:

Overpool Cemetery and Neston Cemetery

• April to September 8am to 7pm
• October to March 8am to 5pm

Blacon Cemetery and Overleigh Cemetery

• April to September 8am to 7pm
• October to March 8am to 4.30pm

Office opening hours:

• Monday to Thursday - 8.30am to 4.30pm
• Friday - 8.30am to 4pm

Wharton Cemetery

As Wharton has a church in its grounds it is open all year round.

Public toilet facilities are available Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm. The toilet adjacent to the office is accessed with a RADAR key. Disability Rights UK (formerly known as RADAR) have indicated that keys will be made available to individuals who have a valid reason for requiring one.
