Check your Council Tax balance
Please note: The eCitizen facility will be unavailable from 7am on Friday 27 March for approximately three hours. The balance enquiry will be available during this time should you wish to check your balance. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
You can access your Council Tax account online using our eCitizen self service facility. You only need to register once to be able to manage any of your accounts. You can then log in at anytime to view your Council Tax account information. As part of the registration process you will be required to request a PIN. For security reasons this will be sent to you by post.
Using eCitizen allows you to access:
- Any Council Tax payments you have made
- Any balances outstanding
- Your current instalments due
- Copies of any bills or notices that we have issued to you
Please note, E-Citizen cannot be used to notify us of a change in your circumstances or update your email address for electronic billing. If you wish to notify us of any changes, please use the online forms below.

You do not need to register for eCitizen to access the following online services:
- Pay your Council Tax online
- Online change of address form
- Report a change or contact us
- Council Tax balance enquiry
- Council Tax band search
- Apply for a discount on your Council Tax
