Your bill

The Council Tax charge is made up of Cheshire West and Chester, Police Authority and Fire Authority.

For 2012/13 the basic Cheshire West and Chester charge is adjusted on most bills to include Special Expenses.

In addition to the Cheshire West and Chester charge you may have to pay towards the cost of services provided by your Town/Parish Council.

For details of the all charges in the Cheshire West and Chester area see the Council Tax Charges 2012/2013 (PDF 46kb)

Further information on Council Tax including Special Expenses can be found in the Council Tax and Business Rates Booklet 2012-2013 (PDF 1.2Mb)

How to appeal against your banding

The Council does not decide the bandings. If you believe the band of your property is wrong you may appeal against it to the Listing Officer at the Crewe Valuation Office.

Contact details can be found on the Valuation Office Agency website.
