By Direct Debit
To set up a Direct Debit, telephone: 0300 123 7 022. Please have your bank account details to hand.
Alternatively, complete a Council Tax Direct Debit mandate form (PDF, 120KB) and return to:

Please make cheques payable to Cheshire West and Chester Council. Please do not send post-dated cheques.
At the Post Office
You can pay your Council Tax at your local Post Office, there is no additional transaction fee for this service. Payment can be made by cash, cheque or debit card. When your bill arrives, you will notice a barcode, you should take this bill with you to the Post Office.

At a retail outlet using PayPoint
You can pay your Council Tax at your local retail store that displays a PayPoint sign. Payment can be made by cash only at these locations. When your bill arrives, you will notice a barcode, you should take this bill with you to the PayPoint outlet.

Internet, telephone banking or standing order
If you would like to set up a standing order or your bank allows you to access your bank account by phone or internet, the details you will need are:

- account number 61602311
You will also need to quote your Council Tax account
reference.
Alternatively, you can telephone: 0300 123 7 022 and we will
send you a Bankers Order Form.
Access your Council Tax account online
You can now register to access your Council Tax account information online using our eCitizen self service facility. Once registered you will be able to view details of your Council Tax bill including payments made and installments due and see any bills or notices we have sent to you.
