We provide a free, impartial and confidential (unless there are reasons for concerns about a child’s safety and/or welfare) service to parents/carers, young people and professionals. The Family Information Service provides information on Childcare and options available, benefits and grants such as tax credits, childcare vouchers, Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Grant etc. We provide Information, Advice and Guidance including parenting support, family matters, support for children with additional needs/disability. This may include providing information on orgnaisations eg. family mediation, legal issues, health, support groups and much more.

The Cheshire West and Chester areas include Chester, Ellesmere Port, Neston, Northwich, Winsford, Frodsham, Helsby, Tarporley and Malpas.
