Interactive guides for parents and carers of children aged 0 - 18

Online health and wellbeing resourceEvery parent or carer wants to know what to do when a child is ill - use these interactive handbooks ‘A Parent’s Guide to Health and Wellbeing’ to learn how to care for your child at home, when to call your GP and when to contact the Emergency Services.

It will point you in the right direction and explain what you can do at home, or where you need to go to get assistance and advice. It also contains general welfare information which will help you keep you and your child safe and healthy and support them to lead a healthy lifestyle.

These handbooks cannot replace specialist care. If you are worried, get further advice. This handbook has been put together with help from health care professionals. All factual content has been sourced from Department of Health, Birth to Five, 2009 edition, NHS Choices, British Association of Dermatologists, The Meningitis Trust and NICE.
