Pay your rent and leaseholder charges
You can pay your housing rent online by using your rent
number.
Your rent number can be found on your Rent Card and is 8 digits long and starts with 1.
You can also pay by the following methods:
Direct Debit
By Direct Debit is the easiest way to pay. We currently offer the 1st or 17th of the month payment dates. If we need to amend your payments, for example due to an increase, we will give you 14 days notice in writing and we will ask the bank to increase the amount you pay.

Post
Send a cheque made payable to "Cheshire West and Chester Council" and write your account reference number on the back. We cannot accept post-dated cheques. Please send to:

PayPoint
Using the barcode on your rent card you can make payment at any outlet displaying the PayPoint sign. No charge is made. A list of outlets in the area can be found using the locator tool on the PayPoint website.
Post Office
Using your barcode you can make payment to any Post Office in the country. Payment can be made by cash, cheque or debit card. Please make cheques payable to 'Post Office Ltd' and write your account number on the back of the cheque.
