Gypsies and Travellers
Government guidance has shown a strong commitment to addressing the accommodation problems facing many Gypsies and Travellers. There are a number of Gypsies and Irish Travellers who consider Cheshire West and Chester to be their home and would like permanent sites on which to live.
In order to identify potential sites to meet the accommodation need, the Council asked consultants to do a site Search Study, which was completed in 2011.
