Library charges
Borrowing
You may borrow 20 items at any one time. This could include:
- up to 20 books
- 8 multimedia items
- except CD-ROMs, computer software and games and DVD box sets where the maximum is 2 items
CDs, DVDs and console games are loaned for one week. Everything else is loaned for three weeks.
Items on loan can be renewed if not reserved by another borrower. Items can be renewed online or by 'phone, e-mail, letter, fax, or visiting a library. You can also renew your library loans using the 24 hour telephone renewal line on 0845 148 0148.

- Items for children from a UK library outside Cheshire - £1.50

People who have difficulty reading print or handling books can reserve talking books and Language Courses free.
