Work is currently underway to produce a new Local Plan for Cheshire West and Chester.

The new Local Plan will in time replace the existing Local Plans.
The new Local Plan documents and related work are reported in the first instance to the Local Development Framework Panel.
Every year we produce Monitoring Reports which monitor: the council's housing land supply; the Local Plan documents and policies; and minerals and waste technical information.
You can read, download and make comments on consultation documents through our online consultation portal. Comments submitted on previous consultation documents can also be viewed.
