Consultation on Fair Access to Care and Charging
For the attention of stakeholders, users and carers in Cheshire
West and Chester
Cheshire West and Chester has recently
undertaken a review of its policies in respect of Fair Access to
Care and Fairer Charging. Both these reviews have identified a
number of proposed changes to these policies. We now wish to
consult with stakeholders, users and carers on these proposals
before making final recommendations to the Executive Portfolio
Holder.
This consultation will commence on
1st February 2010 and conclude on 30th April

Proposal for an Integrated Sensory Impairment Service
In December 2009, the report on the whole system review of
sensory impairment services was finalised. The report noted that
the profile of sensory impairment services is increasing nationally
and service users highly value these services, regarding them as
essential.
