The Aim of the NHS Community Care Act 1990 is to help people
live safely in the community. Social Services assess the needs of
people and arrange for the provision of social care services to
meet these needs. Other responsibilities include: procedures for
receiving comments and complaints, registration and inspection
procedures, the individual’s ability to contribute.
