Your Local Involvement Network (LINk) gives you the opportunity
to influence your local health and care services. Anyone can get
involved, and it has been set up to make sure that people in your
area get the health and social services they need. LINk is ‘not
just a talking shop, but a body with real teeth!’
Your LINk wants to hear about your experiences of health and social
services and your ideas for improvements or changes. It is
independent of national and local government and has powers such as
the right to request information and reports from those who plan
and run health and social care services, to enter and view premises
and to refer issues to elected Council Committees.
