Dingle Recreation Centre
The Dingle Recreation Centre is unique in Cheshire as it is the only recreational centre which offers a range of facilities and activities exclusively for people aged 50 and over. With its friendly and welcoming atmosphere, the Dingle is a great place to call in for tea and toast and a chat with new or old friends.
Facilities and Activities
The facilities at the Dingle Recreation Centre are open 5 days a week, 9.30am - 4.30pm, excluding bank holidays. The venue is also available for hire on a Saturday and Sunday.
A pick up service is available for people who have difficulty using public transport to travel to the centre. it takes people to and from the centre for the Lunch Club and other social events. Alternatively you can use the Dial-a-Ride service tel: 01606 330523 for details.
Shopmobility is available from the centre to enable shoppers to get access to the town centre without the need of carer support. For further details about Shopmobility please tel: 01606 557550.

Lunch Club
The Dingle is home to the very popular Lunch Club which is held Tuesday to Friday at 12.00pm. This offers a delicious home cooked lunch, sweet and a cup of tea at a very reasonable price. Lunches can be booked in advance or up until 10.30am on the day required.
Day Trips
The centre regularly organises a variety of extremely popular day trips which are arranged on a monthly basis and include visits to the seaside and countryside.
Health and Well-being
The Diabetic Society meet at the Dingle on the 2nd Thursday of the month and Arthritis Care meet here on the 2nd Friday of the month. We also have monthly meetings for Parkinson's and Fibromyalgia.
