Cheshire West and Chester Council does not collect personal
information about an individual when they visit our website except
for any personal data that is volunteered on forms which are
submitted to us (including but not limited to registration,
application, complaint, feedback, order, survey, and competition
forms), and in e-mails which are sent to
cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk email addresses.
The same applies to cheshire.gov.uk, chester.gov.uk,
epnbc.gov.uk and valeroyal.gov.uk e-mail addresses.
When an individual volunteers information on an online form,
he/she will be advised of the consequences of this and how the
information will be used to which the information will be put. The
individual will be asked to consent to such use. All our employees
and processors who have access to the personal data or who are
involved in processing that data are obliged to respect the
confidentiality of it. Information will not be passed onto third
parties unless the individual grants permission.
A user may access and browse the website without disclosing
personal data. To avoid disclosing personal data, do no complete
online forms or send emails.
Non personal information is recorded automatically. This data
includes pages visited by an individual, time of visit, order of
pages viewed. This information is for the sole purpose of making
