Reducing your Waste

Reducing your Waste

There are a number of ways for you to reduce your waste.  Here are some ideas.

Love Food, Hate Waste Campaign - 2010 - During February and March, Cheshire West and Chester Households are encouraged to take part in an 8 week Love Food, Hate Waste Challenge.

Love food, Hate Waste - We waste far too much food, but by following some simple advice you can cut down on your waste and your food bill.

Home composting - Home composting can help you save money and space in your rubbish bin. The compost is great for your garden - it really makes those plants grow!

Furniture Reuse - There are a number of organisations that will take your old furniture and recycle it.

Real Nappies - Real nappies can save you over £500 on the cost of keeping your baby in nappies.

Bag for Life - it's not just fashionable it also makes a lot of sense to give up your plastic carrier bags and start using a reusable bag for life.
