Publication scheme
A publication scheme is a commitment to provide information to the public. This information is grouped into seven different classes:
- Who we are and what we do
- What we spend and how we spend it
- What our priorities are and how we are doing
- How we make decisions
- Our policies and procedures
- Lists and registers
- The services we offer
Every public authority subject to the Freedom of Information Act 2000 must have a publication scheme.
We aim to provide information on this website however this is not always possible. When this is not possible or an individual wishes to access information in a different way then we will state on the website how information can be obtained. Sometimes information may only be available to view in person, in which case we will provide relevant contact details for a convenient appointment to be arranged.
To make a Freedom of Information request, email foi@cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk or write to:

If you are looking for information that was available on the pre-Cheshire West and Chester Council websites, you may find it useful to visit the Internet Archive's 'Waybackmachine' to view archived versions of these sites as they have now been decommissioned.
Please choose from the following links which will present you with a range of archived versions covering a number of years. Choose the period that interests you and then explore the site.
