Statement of Licensing Policy

We are the licensing authority for the Cheshire West and Chester District under the provisions of the Licensing Act 2003 and the Gambling Act 2005.

Under the Licensing Act we must review and publish a statement of our licensing policy every five years. Under the Gambling Act we must review and publish a statement of principles every three years. Revised policies are the subject of a public consultation and the results are considered by the Licensing Committee, Executive and Council. You can view these policies and other policies below.
