Please note that due to a change in the law the cost of certificates will change from 16 February 2019. Standard certificates will cost £11 each.

Notice of marriage or civil partnership
Giving notice of marriage or civil partnership is a legal requirement for both partners. There is a charge of £35 each.
You can book registrars up to three years in advance for ceremonies at approved premises. There is a non-refundable fee of £57 when a ceremony is booked. This fee will be deducted from the final amount due for the ceremony.
Register office fee
The fee for a marriage or civil partnership that takes place in the register office is £57 and includes the cost of one certificate. It is possible to obtain further copies before or after the day of the ceremony, the cost per certificate is £11.
Approved premises fees
These fees are for marriages or civil partnerships that take place at approved premises. These charges do not include the hire of the rooms or any other services.

Fees (less the booking fee) should be paid around five weeks before the ceremony and includes the cost of one certificate and the attendance of two registrars.
It is possible to obtain further copies before the day or after the day of the ceremony, the cost per certificate is £11.
