When should you renew your badge
We need to assess a person's mobility every three years to check their eligibility for a Blue Badge.
You should apply for renewal six weeks before the expiry date displayed on your existing badge. This will allow time for the application to be processed and sent out to you before your existing badge expires.
What you will need to renew
You will need:
- the serial number of your current blue badge
- a credit or debit card to pay the £10 administration fee
- your date of birth
- your National Insurance number
If your blue badge was issued by another council (i.e. not Cheshire and Chester West Council), then you need to renew with us.
