Older People's Network
The Older People’s Network (OPN) is a group created with the aim of listening to the views of the growing number of older people and to plan services that effectively cater for their needs.
Where to find help
The OPN has a core group which has a Chairman and Vice Chairman and two representatives from each local forum. The core group is consulted by Cheshire West and Chester Council and other organisations on matters affecting older people and their views are requested on a wide range of subjects.
Forums are being developed in areas throughout Cheshire West and Chester. These are friendly, social meetings where OPN members are able to raise issues of concern. At the meetings, which are held at regular intervals, speakers on subjects suggested by OPN members give useful information and answer questions.
