Quality Councils

Town and parish councils can now attain quality status, a government initiative to encourage capacity building within local councils, bringing with it an enhanced role and agreed delegated responsibilities from the Principal Authority. There are currently 11 local councils within Cheshire West and Chester (as at July 2011) who have attained the quality Council status as follows:
