Annual Report 2018-19

West Cheshire has a population of 340,500 and is made up of the historic city of Chester, industrial and market towns, such as Northwich, Winsford and Ellesmere Port, and rural villages. It has a diverse range of communities, scenery and heritage.

There are 70 elected members of Cheshire West and Chester Council representing the 45 wards that make up the area. The Council is made up of 35 Labour councillors, 28 Conservative councillors, two Liberal Democrat councillors, one Green Party councillor and four Independent councillors.
