Review of licensing polices
Cheshire West and Chester Council is the licensing authority for the Cheshire West and Chester District under the provisions of the Licensing Act 2003 and the Gambling Act 2005.
Under the Licensing Act the authority must review and publish a statement of its licensing policy every five years. Under the Gambling Act the licensing authority must review and publish it statement of principles every three years. Revised policies are the subject of a public consultation and the results are considered by Licensing Committee, Executive and Council.
