Mini polling station review

In light of some recent population changes within the borough and the availability of some polling stations, the Council has commenced a mini polling station review. Any changes resulting from this review will come into place for the May 2023 local elections.

Part of the requirements is to consult with key stakeholders for those stations included in the review. The Council would like to invite interested parties, political groups and electors to make any comments on the proposed changes.

Closing date for comments is Friday 26 August 2022.

Paper copies of the maps and documents can be viewed at Cheshire West and Chester Council, The Portal, Wellington Road, Ellesmere Port, CH65 0BA. What happens next?

Following consultation with key stakeholders and subsequent consultation with Group Leaders, the (Acting) Returning Officer (Chief Executive) will make his comments on the proposals and his recommendations will be made available in the Autumn.
