Art of Now – a fearless look at the art of today

The Art of Now is a whistle-stop tour of Modern Art, of all kinds, from painting to land art to album covers. Taking place at Chester’s Grosvenor Museum, lecture theatre on Sunday 28 June, 2pm to 3.30pm.

Join Adrian Sumner for an entertaining, illustrated talk taking a look at what’s happening in the risky world of Art today. Adrian will discuss the works of artists from Grayson Perry and Banksy to David Mach and Jack Vettriano.

Adrian is a very engaging and knowledgeable speaker and has lectured at universities, on cruise ships and has undertaken Study Tours with groups to many European destinations.

All proceeds go to the Cheshire West Voluntary Arts Network.

The Grosvenor Museum is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10.30am to 5pm and Sunday, 1pm to 4pm. Closed on Monday, but open on Bank Holiday Mondays. Entry is free but donations are welcome.
