Celebrate Love Parks Week in your favourite space

Cheshire West and Chester Council is supporting Keep Britain Tidy's Love Parks Week 2022 starting on Friday.
Councillor Matt Bryan, Cabinet Member for Housing, Planning and Climate Emergency, said:
The goal of Love Parks Week is to get as many people as possible, young and old, out into the great outdoors to take advantage of their local park. A park is an excellent place to get some fresh air and boost your mental health, and you'll also be doing your part to preserve your local park's resources for future generations by making regular use of them. So, take a walk to your nearest park and appreciate its many benefits.
This year Keep Britain Tidy is asking the question: Who loves parks more, dogs or children? Watch their video on the Keep Britain Tidy YouTube channel. The Council will be asking people to join the debate on their social media channels in the coming week.
Councillor Bryan added:
We know everyone loves parks, please let us know how much by getting in touch on social media. Who do you think has more fun in their local park, dogs or children? I think it's probably a draw...
The Council is responsible for 19 country parks, woodlands and nature reserves; seven urban community parks and 110 play areas across West Cheshire.
Earlier this week nine of the Council's parks and greenspaces received Green Flag awards from Keep Britain Tidy, a scheme which recognises and rewards the best green spaces in the country. More information on the borough's parks, greenspaces and play areas:
