Over 1,300 residents in the borough have already registered for a free, no-obligation quote through Switch Together, with households urged to sign up before registrations close on Friday 25 September.
The latest round of Switch Together, a group-buying scheme offering solar panels, battery storage and EV charging solutions, opened in August, with hundreds of homeowners already registering to explore how they could generate and store their own renewable energy.
This is the fourth round of the scheme that Cheshire West and Chester Council has run in partnership with Switch Together (previously Solar Together). Last year, 121 households went on to have solar PV or battery storage systems installed through the initiative.
It is free to register for a quote and only requires some basic information about your home. Switch Together makes improving your home's energy efficiency simple:
- Register – it only takes a few minutes and is completely free.
- Receive your personalised offer – tailored to your home and current energy use.
- Decide whether to go ahead – with no pressure or obligation.
Households that choose to proceed will have their system installed by an MCS-accredited installer, with a 10-year insurance-backed guarantee included as standard.
