Activities are from 4pm until 6pm with free children's rides, live entertainment from local primary school choir and local singers, food and drink plus of course Father Christmas.
The Mayor of Ellesmere Port, Councillor Katie Kendrick:
I’m looking forward to sharing our lights switch-on with Ellesmere Port residents. Most of this event is free, and it’s a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together and celebrate the festive season. I’d like to thank Essar and Entep, who have kindly sponsored the free refreshment stall, which will be staffed by Westminster Families. Thanks also to the generous support from Ellesmere Port Councillors and our Charter Trustees. A special mention goes to St Mary’s of The Angels RC Primary School, who have created the beautiful star for our Christmas tree this year. Happy Christmas, Ellesmere Port.
