Families signposted to new NHS guidance on neurodevelopmental assessments

Families across Cheshire West and Chester are being encouraged to access a new NHS resource providing information about Right to Choose neurodevelopmental assessments.

NHS Cheshire and Merseyside has published a set of frequently asked questions (FAQs) to help parents and carers understand what Right to Choose is, how the process works and where they can find further information.

Cheshire West and Chester Council is sharing the guidance to help ensure families can access clear, trusted information when exploring the support available for their child.

The Council is also sharing the guidance with colleagues who work directly with children, young people, and families to support consistent signposting across services.
