Scattering of cremated remains

There are designated areas within the cemetery and crematorium grounds where cremated remains may be scattered. Arrangements for the scattering of ashes should be made with the Cemetery and Crematorium team. Under no circumstances should cremated remains be scattered within grounds managed by Cheshire West and Chester Council without our permission.

It may be possible to scatter ashes on an existing grave, subject to permission being granted by the grave owner, arrangements should be made with the Cemetery and Crematorium team.
