Where to find help if you are concerned about your own behaviour

  • Open the Door has lots of information if you are worried about your own behaviour. Are your family frightened of you? Do your friends or other family members tell you that you are being unreasonable? Are other people’s relationships very different to yours? Follow the link above for free help and support.
  • Respect Phone line Are you hurting the ones you love? Respect Phone line can help you recognise your behaviours. A friendly helpline advisor will listen to you without judgement and give you honest advice. You can phone, email and/or web chat.
  • HELP is a healthy relationships programme for people with abusive behaviours. The programme is open to both male and females aged over 18. It will help you to foster and maintain healthy relationships.
