Supporting Independence Team Christmas Event 

We are hosting a Christmas Event for 15 – 25 year olds who have support from our Supporting Independence Team. There will be a Christmas meal, music, chat and informal games.

This event will be held on Thursday 18 December 2025, 1pm – 5pm at All Saints Church Hall, 91 Hoole Road, Chester CH2 3HZ.

If you would like to attend, please let your Social Worker or Personal Adviser know, so that they can make the relevant arrangements. Alternatively, you can email our team at leavingcareservices@cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk.

Join in with developing a mentoring scheme

One of our plans in development is a matching of care leavers with volunteers or coaches in the community matched by where you live or what hobby or career interests you’ve got.

We are looking for care leavers to help lead the scheme, recruiting and training volunteers. If you are one of those leaders, you can also receive leadership mentoring. This is a new scheme just getting off the ground.
