Make Your Own Marble Run with Chester Cathedral

Can you build the perfect marble run?

Join local artist Jen McAndrew in the Cathedral Nave for a hands-on, creative session where children design and build their very own marble run using recycled materials – cardboard tubes, card, tape and more – then take it home to keep!Using gravity, angles and a bit of trial and error, young engineers will experiment with slopes, joints and twists to send their marble on its way.

 Each session is 30 minutes and places are limited to keep things fun and personal.

Suitable for ages 5 and up. All children must be accompanied by an adult; children under 5 may need a little extra help from the grown-up with them. All materials provided.

This event is part of the Summer Reading Challenge. Children can join the Challenge at the library from Saturday 4 July or via www.cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk/read.
