Come join us for a 1920s murder mystery in which the audience must play the detective. Eminent archaeologist Professor Digson has been murdered and the murder weapon is a statue of an Egyptian god. But who killed the professor and why? Become a detective for over an hour of murder, mayhem and fun and help bring the killer to justice.
No play acting is required from participants: just sit back and enjoy the evening. Work together in teams or individually to solve the dastardly crime, with a prize for who does the best.
From the pen of the best-selling author Kate Ellis, the author of the phenomenally popular DI Wesley Peterson. This is the latest in the long-running and ever-popular library murder mystery series. It's not meant to be serious and is great for the novice and veteran alike, and those who want to enjoy themselves, with (highly gifted and charismatic - well, they think so) library staff playing all the roles.
This event is part of Little Sutton Library's 60th Birthday celebrations.
Wine, beer and soft drinks will be available for purchase. There Will Be Nibbles.
